River cruising is one of the most extraordinary ways to explore Europe — and one of my true passions. There's nothing quite like slipping down the hall in the early morning quiet, grabbing a coffee and a pastry, and bringing it back to your cabin to watch a new city slowly come into view. Or settling in on the sun deck with a glass of regional wine as the sights drift past and dusk settles over the river.
